Big Snowball Battle in The Netherlands

More than 400 people got into a big snowball battle last Tuesday in Breda in the Netherlands. They event was posted on Facebook by Dutch students who called it the ‘Biggest, Baddest, Snowballbattle'. When over 1200 people clicked 'going', the students deleted the event from this social media. They had their doubts about the safety, probably with the Haren riots that shocked the Netherlands a few months ago in the back of their minds. They told the authorities about their plans, but they thought that this event would not cause any problems. Justly: there is nothing wrong with having some fun in the snow, as long as it doesn't cross to the dangerous side.
