DIY: Beauty To Eat
You would like to pamper yourself. But a beauty treatment is expensive. Because of that, you want to do it by yourself. Although… all the equipments are still quite expensive. Therefore: Do It Yourself, with leftovers you'll find in the cupboard! Raid you kitchen to make yourself a perfect spa day.
Olive oil
Olive oil is loaded with healthy fats. If you eat enough of these fats, you will notice a difference to your skin, hair and nails. Your skin will glow, nails are stronger and your hair shines like it never did before. For beautiful shiny hair you can use olive oil as a hair mask. It may sound odd, but it works. Rub about 2 tablespoons olive oil onto your scalp and your dry hair. For long hair use slightly more olive oil. When your head is coated with olive oil, place a warm, damp towel over your head. Leave this for 30-40 minutes for the best results. When the time is up, you can use shampoo to wash the olive oil out of your hair. Olive oil also ensures your nails from drying out. Therefore, always rub your nails with a little olive oil after polishing your nails.
A yummy face
It’s quite simple to calm and soften the skin of your face: make a mask of yogurt and honey. Yogurt will clear your skin and honey has a calming effect and makes red spots disappear. Keep the mask on your face for 10-30 minutes for the desired result.
Sweet body scrub
A scrub will remove all the dead skin cells from your body. Mix a half cup of coarse brown sugar with a table spoon of honey. Add a splash of olive oil and the juice of a quarter of a lemon to make it a more scrub-like consistency. Now you can scrub your body with it. You will notice that your skin feels a lot smoother after scrubbing.
