What To Do In The Summer

A lot of people are already busy to organize their vacation. Do you have any plans for the summer? Or do you have no idea how to get all those free days to fill? Don’t panic! We will help you. There's plenty of festivals that we can recommend. We explain three of them, two of them take place in the Netherlands, one in Hungary. The only thing you have to do is choose one.

Lowlands
One of oldest and most famous festivals in Holland. You have to have been there at least once in your life. Even if it's just to experience what the Dutch people are talking about each year. Lowlands is known for its alternative band culture. But over the years, many types of music were added. You will never get bored. It’s possible to party 24 hours each day or be entertained by a variety of entertainment. Believe it or not, there are people who will do that. The tickets for a camping flight to Lowlands Paradise 2013 are sold out already - in less than two hours. Don’t have tickets and still want to go? There will be some competitions on the radio where you can win these tickets. The first nine names of the line-up are already available on the website.

Into The Great Wide Open
6, 7, 8 September 2013, the small island Vlieland is completely dominated by ITGWO. This festival is also already sold out. But if you really want, you'll get there. As a visitor, employee or volunteer. ITGWO gets a better reputation each year. ITGWO is not only for the young ones. There is enough for everyone: besides the music there is a surprising programm, visual arts, film, and there are even challenging children's activities.

Sziget
If you like Lowlands, Sziget is like mecca for you. The two festivals have many similarities. Only Sziget is organized in Budapest, is 12 sizes larger than the festival in the Netherlands, and lasts for 10 days (!). This destination is accessible by your own transport, by bus or by plane, but it is more intense to take the party train. You can create new party friends from the start. Besides, you have a beautiful view over the countries you traversed.
