Japanese House Size of Coffin
Living in Tokyo is not easy. More than 13 million people live in the largest city of Japan, leaving not much room for spacious houses. The solution is simple: Japanese started living in houses the size of coffins. Really. Watch the photos below (shots from a Japanese tv show) that portray actual houses. These people live in rooms that are between 7 and 10 square meters. Yep, that is about the size of an average coffin.
Wondering what they pay for these boxes: between $500 and $600 per month.
