Hot Dogs In Different Cities
A hot dog? That’s an oblong piece of bread with a tall sausage inside and ketchup and mustard on top. It seems to be a general concept. But every city has it’s own version. How do you make a hot dog?

Baltimore: two pieces of baked ham, sauerkraut, hot dog and mustard on soft bread.

Boise: baked potato, chives, bacon chips, hot dog and sour cream.

Chicago: poppyseed bun with a hot dog, onion, relish, mustard, tomatoes, pickle, green chili and pepper.

Chincinnati: hot dog with minced meat sauce and cheese.

Denver: hot dog with sour cream, relish, onion and green peppers.
Des Moines: hot dog with mayonnaise, tomatoes, corn and onion.

Honolulu: hot dog with mayonnaise, relish and starfruit.

Kennebunkport: a salad mixture with a hot dog and vegetables in a soft bread.

Las Vegas: hot dog with minced meat sauce, cheese, guacamole, onion, jalapeños and mustard.

Los Angeles: hot dog on a soft roasted bread with mayonnaise, white cabbage, red cabbage, onion and sesame.

Memphis: two hot dogs with mustard, onion and pickle.

New Orleans: a hot dog with a mixture including bacon, onion, green pepper, tomatoes, olive oil and some herbs.

New York: hot dog with sauerkraut and mustard.

Pittsburgh: cheese, hot dog, salad and potatoes.

Portland: naan bread, sauerkraut, hot dog, red onion, pickle, cucumber and green pepper.

San Antonio: tortilla, guacamole, hot dog, baked red and green peppers, baked onion and sour cream.

San Francisco: garlic sauce, hot dog, radish, cucumber, carrot and basil.

Santa Fe: beans, hot dog wrapped in bacon, baked onion and peppers, mayonnaise and a green chili.

Seattle: roasted soft bread with sour cream, hot dog, mustard and baked onion.

Tampa: hot dog with mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, pickle, pineapple and potato chips.
