DIY Old T-shirt
Before you throw all your old T-shirts into the trash, we might have the perfect re-use solution for you. There is a lot of stuff you can make from old T-shirts. The internet shows so many possibilities, too much to make, so we’ve picked our favourites for you. We think the bracelets, the headband, the skirt and the placemat are the cutest. They’re super simple to make, so you should definitely try them!
Bracelets
All you need to make these bracelets are a couple of old bangles. You cut a strip from your old t-shirt and wrap it around the bangle. When you get all the way round you knot the two ends together and you’re done! You could use some glue to be sure, but it’s not really necessary. Here you can find the tutorial.
Headband
Cut two strips of the t-shirt and start knotting. You can use one colour, but multiple colours will give it a great effect. For explanation on the knot, click here.
Skirt
Cut off the top of the t-shirt, so only the body is left. Elastic in the top will make sure your skirt will fit well. You could add some buttons to give it something special.here you can find the tutorial.
Placemat
Cut a lot of strips of of your t-shirt and find a cardboard piece in the wanted size. Stretch lines over the cardboard and weave the strips through. Click here for a more elaborate tutorial.
