Party Proof Make-up
Of course we can all really enjoy a night out, constantly dancing and not arriving back home until the birds have started singing again. The only problem we repeatedly endure is that, because of all those beautiful dances and tropical temperatures in our favourite club, it’s always so freaking warm. And well, temperatures that are way too high = a sweaty face = smudged make-up. That’s something we do not appreciate, so from now on we’ll be well prepared with these seven tips!
1. Toilet paper on your face
During a night of intense dancing, it could be that at a certain moment you’ll visit the bathroom and find out your face is somewhat sweaty. In that case, go to the toilet and dab your face with some toilet paper, this will remove most of the sweat and shininess.
2. Hand cream in your hair
Also your favourite thing in the world? You’ve made yourself all pretty, applied make-up, chose a nice outfit and did your hair. It’s time to go to the party location and yes, it’s raining. You’ve finally arrived at the club and you’re already walking around with hair-do fuzzy. Not anymore. Mix some hand cream with water and apply that to the fuzzy parts of your hair.
3. Hand cream under your eyes
Whether you’ve partied to hard, walked through the rain or just had somewhat of a mental breakdown, run mascara makes no one happy. Apply a drop of hand cream onto a piece of toilet paper and wipe that mascara right off.
4. Lipstick on your cheeks
Looking a little pale? Even your lipstick is multifunctional. Apply a couple of dots onto your cheekbones and smear it well. Hello apple cheeks!
5. Eyelash curler under your hair dryer
If you heat your eyelash curler with your hair dryer for a couple of seconds your lashes will curl more, besides that the curl will also last longer.
6. Fixing spray
Nowadays almost all make-up brands sell fixing sprays. After applying your party make-up spray some over your face and your make-up will instantly stay put longer. It’s a little miracle in a bottle.
7. Lipstick for the entire night
First apply a thin layer of foundation onto your lips. After that colour your lips with a neutral eye pencil and then apply lipstick. Bite onto a tissue and then apply a layer of lipgloss.
