Glass Spots Drugs
Did your mother always tell you to watch your drink at least twenty times before you went out? She’s absolutely right, it’s often not that difficult to put something in it and the consequences of that are something we’d rather not think about. But between all the dancing, chatting and flirting is an be kind of hard to keep constant eye contact with your glass. Luckily there is now a solution for this, that will hopefully hit the market soon.
In the glass are sensors that change colour when they come in touch with drugs. In the video you can see that the dots are first orange, but then turn purple at the places the drugs touch the sensors.
The makers are still looking for people wanting to finance the project, they’re meaning to also produce drinking straws besides the glasses. What do you think of the idea? Should they use this at your local bar/club?
