1. Green tea
It might be time to switch from your daily fruit tea to a more healthy green tea. Green tea contains EGCG, an ingredient that makes your metabolism speed up temporarily.

2. Hot peppers
The ingredient that makes the peppers so hot, also makes your body heat up. This will give your metabolism a kick and makes your burn calories faster. Whether you eat them raw, cooked, dried or in powdery form, it all helps!

3. Oat meal
Oat meal contains soluble and non-soluble fibres, which makes it perfect for our list of fat burning foods. Your body burns twice as many calories if it has to break down food that is rich in fibres. Besides that, oat meal is very filling, which will make your morning snack-craving free. Do look at the packaging to see if the oat meal doesn’t contain too much sugar.

4. Dairy products
The low-fat and fat-free variaties of milk, yoghurt and cheese help you build and keep muscles.

5. Eggs
Egg whites contain lots of protein, which are a good source of energy. Besides that, eggs don’t contain a lot of calories.

6. Fish
Fatty fish like salmon, tuna and mackerel contain fat acids that increase the fat burning effects of your daily activities.
