Get Rid of Those Dark Circles!
We all have those days on which the bags between our eyes are almost larger than our eyes. Whether you haven’t slept enough, have the flu or have been ignoring your healthy diet lately, those bags aren’t pleasant. Of course you can apply three layers of foundation and five layers of concealer, but you could also try to get rid of them in a bit more natural way. Read here how you can reduce the bags under your eyes without using make-up.

1. Elevate your head
Is your alarm clock telling you you have ‘4 hours and 24 minutes’ left before it’ll ring when you’re setting it before bed? If you know beforehand it’ll be a short night, find some extra pillows. If you elevate your head a little less fluid will accumulate beneath your eyes.

2. Get moving
Even if you’re in a hurry in the morning, try squeezing in some jumping jacks or sit-ups in your morning routine. If your heart rate increases the circulation of your body will improve. This will not only reduce the bags under your eyes, it will also energize you.

3. Make an egg white mask
A mask made of egg white will tighten the skin beneath your eyes. Dab some raw egg white beneath your eyes with your fingers and leave it on for about fifteen minutes. Rinse with some warm water.

4. Use teabags
Hang two teabags in warm water and then put them, after squeezing out the excess water, in the fridge. Put the cold teabags under your eyes for about fifteen minutes. The caffeine and the cold compress will reduce the bags under your eyes.

5. Apply eye cream with caffeine
The caffeine in eye cream will reduce discolouration and puffiness. If you store the cream in the fridge it will also be nice and cool for your eyes.

6. Place cucumber onto your eyes
Cut a fresh cucumber in slices and place one on each eye. Five minutes is long enough to let the cucumber juice treat your dark circles.

7. Milk on your dark circles
Drench a cotton pad in cold milk and place it under your eyes for ten to fifteen minutes every day before you go to bed.
