Man Drunk Without Alcohol

A man from Texas came to the hospital with a very weird story. He said he felt drunk, but that he hadn’t been drinking alcohol. The doctors thought that it was a weird story and suspected he had a secret alcohol addiction. However, research showed that the man wasn’t drunk. He had the ‘self brewing syndrome’. The sugars from carbs were digested into ethanol (alcohol), thanks a rare kind of yeast in his stomach. This means he actually had a brewery in his own belly. The man is now sober thanks to a low-carb diet.
