'Always Pregnant' because of a disease
Hayley Barley suffers from Hirschsprung’s disease, which causes her stomach to be extremely swollen because her intestines are damaged. She always looks pregnant. Luckily for Hayley, she will undergo surgery in december. A part of her bowel system will be removed, which means she will get a stoma. Hereafter she hopes people will not stand up for her on the bus, simply because they think she is pregnant.
So ladies, don’t whine about a swollen belly. It could be much, much worse.
