Fish With Transparent Head
You can see right through the head of the Pacific Barreleye. What at first seems like it’s eyes are actually the gills of the fish. The green bulbs are in fact it’s eyes and can see what happens across an agle of 180 degrees above the Pacific Barreleye, even if the fish remains horizontal.
The Pacific Barreleye lives at a depth of 700 meters below sea level before the coast of California.
