Women with cancer photographed by her man
The wife of photographer Angelo Merendino was diagnosed with breast cancer, five months after they got married. He decided to photograph her, to give the horrible disease a human face: the face of his wife. Angelo doesn't romanticize it, nor does he deny that cancer is not a battle with winners and losers, but simply a horrific disease.
