Painful Divorces
Of course a divorce is always tough. Though some people are able to separate quite friendly, some do the exact opposite. A couple of fights over shared properties are absolutely nothing compared to these bizarre actions. Chances are small these people will ever make up…
1. Middle Finger
Alan Markovitz wasn’t all that pleased when he found out his wife Lea had an affair with a man he knew. Alan claims it’s totally a coincidence that he’s living in the house next to his ex-wife, but his choice for garden decorations makes us somewhat doubt that statement… He has spend about 7000 dollars on an enormous middle finger that is, very accidentally, pointing right at his ex-wife’s house. The spotlight pointed at it at night just gives it that little extra.
2. Pennies
A redditer about to divorce got a little bit fortunate. Court decided that his ex-wife had to pay him €37,50 in the divorce settlement. The ex-wife concerning found this such a cheap act that she had the amount delivered to him in pennies.
3. Big rock
This woman apparently always wished for a big rock for her engagement ring, I bet she’s sorry she every did that… The mayor of a small town decided to give his ex-wife one last birthday present. Apparently that woman wasn’t all that grateful for the enormous rock of 20.000 kilos, even though the man had really gone all out with the pink ribbon and the painted on ‘Happy birthday, Isa’. Odd.
4. Wedding dress
What do you do when after twelve years of marriage your wife leaves with all her stuff, but leaves her wedding dress behind and even gives you permission to do whatever you want with it? 5. Boom
This is what you can call an explosive marriage. A man who wasn’t all that happy with the pending divorce decided to leave a fake bomb in his wife’s house. For clarity he had written a note telling it was a bomb and on the table he wrote that word ‘Boom’. The bomb squat very quickly found out that the bomb wasn’t really a bomb and the man was arrested.
6. Angry farmer
This story makes us doubt ever to start dating a farmer, because apparently it’s not all that wise to divorce a man who has access to a tractor and lots of manure… When this man got the divorce papers delivered to him he decided to make his wife smell his pain and fill her hot tub with manure.
7. Seperated by a wall
Finally the divorce is final and then there’s the hard part, dividing your stuff. Especially, the house. What do you do if neither of you wants to move? Then you just build a wall in the middle of the house! The wall is build in 2006 and apparently neither of them have moved thus far.
8. Send to space
We’ve thus far figured out what to do with the wedding dress and the house, but what about the ring? Rebecca Gibbs from New Zealand wanted the thing as far away from her as possible and decided to sent it to space. Taped to a homemade rocket it was send into space in 2012.
