Mix of Human and Barbie
How would Barbie look with real eyes and real tooth? The doll that people know as perfection since they were young is so different from reality. Of course it was clear that we never would get the Barbie look. In this photo series it’s more clear than ever how big the difference actually is. With this series Sheila Pree wants to show the contrast between cultural images and real beauty. In the picture she for instance gave Barbie human eyes and she combined a human skin with Barbie plastic.
