Step 1. For natural results, choose a hair donut close to you hair colour. Generally there are blonde, brunette and black hair donuts.

Step 2. Brush your hair and put it in a ponytail. The position of the ponytail determines the position of the bun, so bear in mind where you want to create the bun.

Step 3. Put the ponytail trough the donut hole.

Step 4. Lean forward and spread your ponytail around the hair donut. Make sure your hair completely hides the donut.

Step 5. Hold the bun in place with one hand and stretch an elastic around the donut to secure the hair.

Step 6. Start to wind the end of your hair around the donut and secure with hairpins.

Step 1. Find a clean sock which is close to your hair color. Use a old pair because you have to cut of the toe.

Step 2. Roll the sock down beginning from the top of the sock. As you will see, the sock will begin to look like a donut.
