Airplane No-no's
Of course it sometimes happens that people are sent of the plane, if usually there’s a good reason for it. The next ten people were exceptionally unlucky, they have been sent of the plane for bizarre reasons. These stewards were clearly having a bad day… From a little weird to extremely bizarre, here’s a list of the 10 strangest reasons to get kicked of a plane.
1. Saying ‘bomb’ 100 times.
Because of Tourette syndrome, this man couldn’t stop saying ‘bomb’. When he got nervous it kept getting worse and eventually the pilot sent him of the plane because of safety risks. Later the pilot changed his mind and allowed him back on the lane.
2. Smelling bad.
Before departing from Charlottetown people started to complain about a passenger that smelled really bad. The stench got so bad that the passenger was removed from the plane.
3. Wearing baggy jeans.
The airline’s dresscode forbids ‘inappropriate exposure’, so when this 20 year old student’s pants were below his buttocks he was immediately escorted out of the plane. This was after he refused to pull them up.
4. Coughing.
A 16-year-old girl returned from a school trip with a nasty cough. The pilot thought it would be better for her and the other passengers that she wouldn’t be on the flight. They did however give her a new flight home the next day.
5. Taking a picture
When a photographer saw an employee being rude to a couple of boarding passengers she decided to take a picture. The employee later came to her and demanded that she’d delete the picture. She also told the captain to remove the woman from the plane.
6. Cursing.
A man on a 45 minute delayed flight asked another passenger ‘what took so long’. However he did use the f-word twice in this question. An overhearing steward did not at all find this acceptable. The plane went back to the gate and this man’s delay turned into no flight at all.
7. Saying ‘bye bye plane’.
A little boy of just 19 months really wanted to say goodbye to all the other planes, but one of the stewards did not agree with this. When the boy didn’t stop she suggested to give him something to get him to sleep. When his mother refused that was the end of their flight to Oklahoma.
8. Singing Whitney Houston songs.
A woman flying from Los Angeles to New York for unknown reasons did not want to stop singing Whitney Houston songs. The singing soon became too much for her fellow travelers and the plane made an unscheduled stop so the woman could be escorted out.
9. Fear of flying.
Because of a fear of flying, a woman on a flight to Dallas started crying. When she wanted to order a glass of wine to fight her nerves, the steward told her she had already had enough, although the woman said it would have been her first. She was put of the plane on the next stopl Thanks to this misunderstanding at least she didn’t have to be afraid she’d have to fly anymore that day…
10. Being too tall.
A 2 meter and 6 centimeter tall man didn’t fit in his chair on a plane in Portland. Because his legs were resting in the aisle a stewardess tripped over them. She asked him to move his legs, but he explained this was not possible. He was then sent of the airplane.
