If you wondered how Americans get so overweight, here's the answer. We made an estimation of the 'average' intake of an American adult with a passion for fast-food. After three meals and three snacks, you have taken in about 7500 calories. That's about four times what a regular adult women should eat. Enjoy!


Breakfast at Burger King: pancakes, eggs, sausage burger, hash browns and a savory muffin. Score: 1450 calories.



Snack: ten pieces of fried chicken at Kentucky Fried Chicken. Score: 1300 calories.



Lunch is a steak and cheese panini from Panera Bread. Score: 1000 calories.



An afternoon snack from White Castle: twenty fried chicken rings. Score: 1760 calories.


Dinner is of course a hamburger. The triple burger at Wendy's with extra cheese adds another 1120 calories.



If you have a sweet tooth, you need desert too. Drive by Dunkin' Donuts for a coffee shake with extra whipped cream. Score: 730 calories. Mmm, what a day!
