Racist tattoos removed
Bryon Widner was once a member of one of the most violent groups of skinheads in America. His whole body is filled with tattoos. His face shows all kinds of racist symbols. In 2006 he married Julie Larsen, also a member of a racist group, and together they wanted to change their lives, they wanted to start a family together.
The only problem they were left with, was the fact that Bryon’s face was still covered in tattoos. Because of this people looked at him different and he wasn’t able to find a job. Bryon was once desperate enough to consider throwing acid over his face, his wife then decided to get help. Eventual they found an anonymous donor. This woman was willing to pay for the 35.000 dollar surgeries, if Bryon would get his GED and would pursue a college degree. Also she wanted him to go into counselling. After finding a capable doctor the extremely painful operations started.
Sixteen months and twenty-five surgeries later Bryon’s face is finally completely tattoo free. His face is completely scar free. He gets frequent migraines and needs to stay out of the sun though, but he says it’s a small price to pay to be human again.
