Let’s be honest, no one really wants to be reminded of what they looked like during their awkward teens. Photographer Merilee Allred figured puberty should be something you have to look back at with pride. Those awkward teen years should be embraced, because they made you the person you are now.
The photographer is working on a project for which she photographs people while they’re holding a picture of their awkward teen selves. It’s a great way to see how people can change in a couple years time. Also it’s some instant hope for everyone still in their insecure years, everything will be all right!
