Fix Your Broken Powder
You probably have a favourite eye shadow, powder or blush. You probably also experienced your favourite eye shadow, powder or blush not quite surviving your clumsiness in the bathroom, the transportation in your bag or that wild night out… There you have it, your favourite powder in hundreds of pieces. Throw it out? Not anymore! From now on you will fix your favourite make-up products all by yourself. The blog Painted-Ladies.com shows us how to do that and we’re happy to explain it to you step by step.
Step 1
Put all the broken powder in a container, you can clean the original container with a make-up brush.
Step 2
Crush the powder with for instance the backside of your make-up brush, make sure there are no more lumps.
Step 3
Add a little bit of rubbing alcohol to the powder and stir the mixture well.
Step 4
The paste you have created can now be put back in the original container, make sure it’s put in nice and smooth.
Step 5
Leave the powder alone for a couple of hours.
Step 6
After a couple of hours you can see your powder is starting to look like something again. You can use a paper towel to press the powder and give it a nice pattern. After that leave it alone again. After about eight hours it will be ready for use.
