Man Posts Murder Onto Facebook
The constant need to post every happening in your life to social media went a little far with Derek Medina. Yesterday, all his friends could read on their Facebook-newsfeed that he’d killed his wife… The man first posted a picture of his wife, on which she could be seen lying dead on the kitchen floor. A while later he wrote a post in which he tells his friends that he’s going to jail for killing his wife. He writes that he did it because she hit him and he didn’t want to be abused any more. He then turned himself in to the police.
Derek Medina (31) and Jennifer Alfonso (26) had been divorced, but got married again. The daughter of the woman was at home when Medina shot his wife, but she remained unharmed. She’s been taken out of the house by the police.
The Facebook-page has fortunately been taken of the internet, but the picture has been online for about five hours. In the meantime his friends reacted on the picture, asking what has happened.
Before the incident the Facebook-pages of the couple were filled with pictures of them together, seeming happy.
