Restaurant Serves Supermarket Pizzas
You decide to go out for dinner to a nice Italian restaurant, to have some real Italian pizza. The restaurant where you decide to go praises her pizzas with the “taste of Italy” and “pizza with a real difference”. Must be a great restaurant right? And so it was, no one had any complaints among the 100 pizza lovers attending the opening of “La Pizzeria Ristorante”. They were all extremely enthusiastic over the pizzas. Little did they know...
The enthusiasm abruptly stopped when restaurant owner Gary Newborough admitted that he’d made a few trips to the supermarket for a couple of frozen pizza’s of Dr. Oetker. He was curious as to people would notice the difference, besides that it also seemed like a great stunt to him. At least it garnered a lot of attention, Twitter was also filled with reactions on the pizza stunt. Could it be a publicity stunt for Dr. Oetker?
If you feel like trying these great pizzas, you still can! The restaurant will be serving frozen pizza’s until the 7th of September. The pizza’s cost about five euro’s including a salad and a drink.
