Hearse as a Wedding Car
Of course you want to be transported in an original way on your wedding day. A nice wedding car, maybe even a carriage! These newlyweds had a different idea, they decided to hire a hearse.
Colin Moore (86) and Margaret Bevan (81) had been together for 21 years and decided it was time to get married. Margaret had never felt the need to get married, because she felt that their life together was fine the way it was. Colin decided that after 21 years the time was right to get married and asked her over breakfast. They decided to get married fast, considering their age.
Their age was also the reason for the unique means of transportation. The hearse was meant as a joke because they decided to get married at such old age. Colin himself just laughed about the adventure. ‘I wonder what the neighbours thought, when the hearse pulled up’.
