Cause of Death Cory Monteith Revealed
Last Saturday Glee-actor Cory Monteith was found dead in his hotel room in Canada. Rumours were going around about an overdose, but the autopsy would take place on Monday. The results have been revealed yesterday.
The actor has indeed died of an overdose. The combination of alcohol and heroin was fatal for him. The British Colombia State Coroners Service says nothing else can be revealed, but it still looks like Cory Monteith’s death was a tragic accident. A spokesperson of the Vancouver Police Department states that Monteith was alone in his hotel room when he died. He was found the next day by employees of the hotel when he didn’t check out.
His girlfriend Lea Michele, also an actress in the show Glee, let out a statement that she is grieving alongside his family and that she is grateful for all the support from his fans.
