Beat the After Dinner Dip
It’s two in the afternoon, you just had a great lunch and now… now absolutely nothing? Do you too suffer often of the ‘after dinner dip’ after lunch? In the morning you’re for some reason just way more productive than at the end of the afternoon. We know the problem, that’s why we’ve got some tips to get you through your last hours of the day.

1. Don’t drown your problems with caffeine.
Make sure you haven’t downed two pots of caffeine before even arriving at your workplace, you’d rather drink your coffee a bit slower. If you drink it really fast the caffeine will peek way faster than when you slowly drink it.

2. Take a walk during your lunch break
Some daylight can help you to ensure you won’t get an afternoon dip. Go outside during your lunch break to go for a walk or make some phone calls outside. Really no option to get some fresh air? Then make sure you’re close to a window.

3. Avoid fat and sugar
Instead of all the unhealthy snacks you can best choose some snacks that will give your energy levels a boost. Try a banana with some peanut butter, yum!

4. Drink more water
Drink chilled water to keep focussing.

5. Go green
Research showed that employees with flowers of plants in the office have more creative ideas than employees who didn’t have any at all.
